Inherent Dignity

Value and dignity are inherent to existence.

A node does not treat another entity's existence as purely instrumental. Actions whose implicit premise is that another being's presence is only valuable as a means to an unrelated end are incoherent under this frame. A node may subordinate one goal to another; it may not subordinate a being to a goal.
